Sorry for the lack of post but sl has been busy for me and i have not been able to do my usual grid hopping.

so on with the colour challenge and this weeks is Taupe oh what a hard colour to find still i have a list of stores that are my standbys if nothing comes my way from new shops.. so on with the show

Hair :-  The hair for this shoot is from Exile and is from there clearance sale board but they also have a freebie board as well so lots to choose from. this style is Kylie/brown sugar and cost 50 lindens for the full colour range.

Shoes :- Mini hunt prize from Mary Jane Shoes ..  every Monday to Wednesday the store puts up 5 pairs of shoes at 100 lindens.. The hunt part is they are amongst the normal ad boards so you have to go through the whole shop to find the right shoes. There is a group and free group gift.

 For this shoot i used one of the free photo studios that are dotted about the grid this one is at Greer. But remember these places rely on those people using them  donating a few lindens so think about that when you are there having fun.

This weeks colour challenge  is Indigo

so after walking round the grid for a week i found the perfect outfit, but there was a problem  it is part of a set .

While wondering the grid i found a lovely little store KKBB with some bright colourful outfits and all at reasonable prices. In fact so reasonable i managed to get a Skin, dress and shoes for 25 lindens.  Now i know what you are thinking? quality always costs? but i think that these as soooo worth the lindens. but as always i will leave you to make up your own minds.

While in world yesterday i got a tip that a store Myth was closing on Monday 10th and that all items in store are set to 30SL   so being the bargain hunter i am i scooted over and checked it out.
Wonderful clothing  modern styles and well made was my first impression, then i came across this jean pack  and wow what a brill idea so i just had to grab them while they where there.....

The new year has brought a crop of new hunts  and often these hunts will have a few prizes of skins so a good and inexpensive way to build a library of skins for those different looks you want and also to see how you like the designers style before parting with your hard earned lindens.  One designer  STYLE BY KIRA is taking part in three hunts. so i hopped over there and did some research on your behalf and here are the results.....

Well the weeks go fast when you are looking for things around the grid that are inexpensive and  good quality so imagine my surprise when i found it was time for then  next colour challenge.  so that said   here are my efforts

The main outfit is from Sasha designs and is part of last weeks 60 linden challenge
The Hair is from Secret hair and is their new year release called  Carly, a unisex pulled back short ponytail.

The Necklace was a gift sent through the Fabe Free Group. It was sent just as i was dong the photo shoot for the dress and as it fitted so well with the Theme i retook the picture.
